State of Florida v. Kristopher Henriqson

Press Release | April 15, 2026

DOB: 12/13/1977

Case Number: 25-00152CF

Henriqson Convicted, Sentenced to Life Plus 15 Years

BUNNELL โ€“ After a two-day trial, a Flagler County jury found defendant Kristopher Henriqson guilty as charged of two counts of Sexual Battery on victim less than 12 years of age, four counts of Lewd/Lascivious Molestation of victim less than 12 years of age, three counts of Sex Battery on victim 12 to 18 years of age by a person in Familial or Custodial Authority, Lewd/Lascivious Battery of victim 12 to 16 years of age, and Lewd/Lascivious Molestation of victim 12 to 16 years of age. Immediately following the verdict, he was sentenced to mandatory life in prison plus 15 years for the crimes.

โ€œA life sentence seems inadequate for the shocking number of rape and molestation convictions,โ€ State Attorney R.J. Larizza said about the case. โ€œThere is no measuring cup for the pain and suffering of our child rape victims. The defendant got off easy in comparison.โ€

The case was investigated by the Flagler County Sheriffโ€™s Office. Assistant State Attorney Melissa Clark successfully prosecuted the case for the State of Florida. The Honorable Dawn Nichols presided over the case and pronounced sentence.
