Young Guns Defendant Indicted on First-Degree Murder

DELAND – The Volusia County Grand Jury heard the case of Jamarcus Summerall. The Young Guns defendant is accused of shooting into a vehicle parked outside of a large party in Daytona Beach on April 13, 2025. The victim inside was shot in the chest and died at the scene.

The indictment was handed down on Monday morning. Summerall was charged with First-Degree Murder and Shooting into an Occupied Vehicle.

The case was investigated by the Daytona Beach Police Department. Assistant State Attorney Andrew Urbanak is the prosecutor assigned to the case.
