Beasley Indicted on First-Degree Murder in Brutal Putnam County Stabbing
PALATKA – The Putnam County Grand Jury heard the case of Lemar Beasley today. The defendant is accused of stabbing a woman more than 40 times outside of a Fruitland store on November 14, 2025. The victim died from her injuries at the hospital.
The indictment was handed down this morning. Beasley was charged with First-Degree Murder.
The case was investigated by the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant State Attorney Mark Johnson is the prosecutor assigned to the case.
